The tracks in this album span 2009-2012 and as a whole it represents my transition from the natural state of Washington to the classic and electrifying city of Chicago.

For three years I worked at a lighting showroom for a family owned company called New Metal Crafts which closed down in 2016. I learned tons about lighting and chandeliers in that short time. There was a design expert named Paul Jurkschat who managed the warehouse where fixtures were made and refurbished. I always enjoyed our brief interactions and the nuggets he took the time to share with me about his craft. On January 19, 2018 he passed away at the young age of 54. I want to dedicate this album to him.
